Pathronides was a soldier of the Empire of Anell during the Dark War.
Nothing is known of him, but it can be assumed that he held some position of authority, able to give two-third's of a battle's loot away to a group of strangers in exchange for a weapon of immense power.
He is the son of a senator and an influential woman in Anell's capital.
